At HASANA, we believe education is inseparable from our Islamic teachings. In fact, our honorable Islamic history tells us how common it was for an Islamic scholar to be knowledgeable in life sciences like astronomy, chemistry, biology, etc.

With those beliefs we adopt, we designed our curriculums to match with our Islamic culture. Besides, our school focuses on Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Quran as independent subjects side by side with our American core subjects.

Our Curriculum Consists of:

1. California education core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
2. Supplementary Subjects: Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Quran.

We are a Sunni Online School and we adhere to the Sunnah in our Islamic teachings, ensuring authenticity and depth.

HASANA is not only an online school — it’s a community-building organization that focuses on Islamic networking in California. Since our message is to build effective Muslims in the community, we set clear plans to avoid the social isolation that Muslim students usually experience in the West.

This explains why HASANA organizes regular parents meetings so that families can get to know each other and connect, organizes Islamic competitions about general Islamic knowledge (eg. Quran competitions & Arabic spelling bee), and organizes events in local masjids with our supervisors and teachers. Besides, our school organizes events that resemble the traditional events in public schools, like (International Day), as we organize (Hijab day) for young girls, and (Akhlaq Day) for all students to discuss our Islamic morals and standards. Not only that, as our school admin organizes sport events so that our students can build their bodies side by side among our teachers, building their brains!

In fact, HASANA is a partner of online organizations that provide summer courses in programming, graphic design, media production, video editing, and more!
